Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This position is responsible for setting key strategic architecture direction for SOA, Microservices, Process Orchestration, AI and Robotic Process Automation across EBT. This position will be responsible for creating and working with technology partners to deliver a solution architecture for these critical areas. Responsibilities will include: Working with the LOB business leaders, application managers, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure Architects, and project teams to create and manage an EBT Service Oriented and Event Driven Architecture. Working with the LOB business leaders, application managers, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure Architects, and project teams to create and manage an EBT AI and RPA Architecture. Assess impact of the enterprise Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation initiatives on the Enterprise Business Technology portfolio. Responsible for designing innovative AI or RPA solutions for EBT business partners in accordance with enterprise policies and initiatives. Work with EA to implement EBT architecture standards processes for SOA and SEAR governance. Engage in cross EBT Architecture alignment activities and assist in enterprise initiatives as needed. Acts in a strategic role in the development and maintenance of microservices architectures for that are in compliance with the Enterprise Architecture. The preferred work location is Charlotte, NC, but other locations such as Chandler, AZ and Minneapolis, MN will also be considered. Preference will be given to those candidates that either currently live in or are willing to relocate to one of these preferred locations with limited to no relocation assistance. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of information technology systems design and planning experience; in systems, applications, or architecture 7+ years of SOA (Services Oriented Architecture) experience 10 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles- Desired Qualifications: Extensive technical skills and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of an entire line of business or infrastructure sub-domain Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to interact with all levels of an organization Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams Knowledge and understanding of business rules management systems such as: Ilog, Jrules, Blaze, or Drools Knowledge and understanding of technology governance 1+ year of RESTful or SOAP web services.
