Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Summary of Position Working with a team of specialized employment attorneys, the Analyst will run statistical analyses, interpret data, and prepare detailed reports pertaining to employment-related processes such as compensation, hiring, promotion, termination, and benefits. The candidate must be detail-oriented and should enjoy working with people and performing advanced technical analyses. The position will require creativity and problem-solving ability, as well as technical acumen. A background or familiarity with statistical analysis is preferred. Essential Functions With attorney supervision, manage and analyze data received from clients. Prepare and analyze reports regarding employer hiring, promotion, termination, and compensation trends. Create statistical models for use in determining the presence of decisions, practices, or policies which have a statistically significant effect on a group of employees or applicants. Generate statistical reports using a variety of database systems. Optimize business processes through high performing databases, routines, macros, and structured query languages. Requirements: 2 years of experience in a similar role with superb skills in data analysis with advanced experience using Microsoft Excel. Law firm experience is a plus. Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Document Management System. Able to operate multi-line phone, calculator, blackberry, cell phone, copier, fax, scanner. Skilled in Excel, including pivoting capabilities and analysis module, and VBA macros. Proficient with Excel. Proficiency in SAS (or similar software) a strong plus. Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in both individual and team settings. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects. We are not working with outside recruiters.
