Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Duties: Responsible for asset/liability projections and related model development, financial analysis, support for regulatory reporting, filing, and product development in our actuarial division for all of the Company's universal life insurance portfolios (including portfolios with or without no lapse guarantees). Interface with senior leaders, corporate actuarial team, investment strategy team, Prophet model developers, pricing team, and experience study team to ensure prompt delivery of financial results and to support optimal strategic decision making. Analyze changes in industry best practices and regulations to ensure compliance of financial result. Manage projects and resources to improve model, analysis, and process. Requirements: Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Mathematical Risk Management or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus 3 years of experience providing actuarial services and modeling for life insurance or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience as stated above. Must have at least 1 year of experience in each of the following:; Performing asset and liability management and modeling utilizing Prophet; Performing modeling in accordance with ASOP standards and their state variations; Evaluating embedded value to calculate intrinsic value of company; Assessing future statutory surplus and solvency position under stressful economic scenarios; Providing financial analysis to support requests from business and corporate management, for areas such as product development, product pricing, and hedging programs; Analyzing asset and liability cash flow and duration matching to support investment strategy and risk management decisions; and Utilizing Excel and VBA to perform advanced data calculations.
