Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Job Summary: Efficiently performs masonry work laying stone, block and brick. Efficiently installs drystack stone, flagstone and boulders. Efficiently installs retaining walls and pavers. Efficiently builds, pours concrete and finishes to spec. Efficiently removes debris from jobsite when necessary. Operations and care of company vehicles Drive company vehicles prudently and responsibly and does not abuse vehicles through poor driving habits Specified operating and safety procedures are followed in the use and maintenance of equipment Checks equipment for cleanliness and serviceability Vehicles are clean and service checks made daily. Identify and report equipment wear, malfunctions, and damages Safety Approaches task in a safe manner. Wears protective equipment and clothing as required. Employee notifies supervisor of any unsafe conditions. Attendance and Punctuality Appearance meets departmental specifications. No unnecessary delays in starting work as specified time. No abuse of meal periods, coffee breaks, quitting time, or other special absences. Supervisor is given notice in advance of absences Customer Service Is courteous and respectful with clients, supervisor and co-workers.
