Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsible for leading corporate banking client coverage activities for clients in the Western Region of the US, with a focus on middle to large sized companies. Manages a team of bankers through hiring, talent development and daily oversight. Applies extensive market and product knowledge to drive client development, revenue production and business growth. Leads development of market coverage strategy. Oversees complex client relationships, revenue production or transactions. Skillfully develops and maintains effective internal working relationships. Ensures effective delivery of SunTrust's full suite of product capabilities; Applies highly developed risk management skills; May represent SunTrust in fiscal, legal, regulatory and/or trade entities. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: BA/BS degree 15 years of related work experience 5 years of management experience Experience in leading the execution of an extensive variety of client transactions covering the full advisory, capital raising, risk management and treasury services spectrum Advanced knowledge of industry, market and products Proven ability to develop, nurture and monetize trusted advisor client relationships with senior executives Proven track record in revenue generation Ability to lead, recruit, inspire and coach a team of highly motivated and effective bankers Entrepreneurial perspective to formulate and execute a differentiated and winning strategic approach to market Advanced analytical and technical skills combined with a problem solving attitude Excellent interpersonal style, good listening skills and the ability to communicate highly complex ideas clearly and concisely Well established relationship with clients and bankers in Western US Strong partnering and leadership skills PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: MBA degree, with a Finance focus 20 years of related work experience 10 years of management experience JOB:Corporate and Investment Banking.
