Job Responsibilities and Requirements: As a Product Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for launching and building marketing programs for Google s data processing products. Google has been in the forefront of data processing technology innovation, pioneering frameworks and solutions like MapReduce, FlumeJava9, Apache Beam and many more. Google s data processing products play a critical role in our strategy, enabling Data Engineers to process and analyze big data for meaningful business insights. They re also a major point of technical differentiation for our cloud. You ll get visibility within Google Cloud Platform and all throughout Google. Google Cloud helps millions of employees and organizations empower their employees, serve their customers, and build what s next for their business all with technology built in the cloud. Our products are engineered for security, reliability and scalability, running the full stack from infrastructure to applications to devices and hardware. And our teams are dedicated to helping our customers developers, small and large businesses, educational institutions and government agencies see the benefits of our technology come to life. Responsibilities Create a Product Marketing strategy for the Google Cloud data processing product area. Manage product launches as part of a cross-functional team including Field Marketing, Demand Generation, Public Relations and Advertising. Coordinate integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, adoption, trial and purchase of Google Cloud Platform. Identify, develop and/or manage the creation of a variety of content types - written, videos, presentations, etc. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: BA/BS degree in a technical or marketing field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in technology and/or software marketing. Preferred qualifications: Experience building creative assets and marketing content. Experience planning and actioning multiple, complex marketing programs including budget management. Experience as a product and/or technology advocate, with the ability to collaborate with Engineering and Marketing teams. Familiarity with big data analytics, data processing, data integration, data management, business intelligence and related solution areas. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
