Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge base of trademark law, prior law firm experience, docketng knowledge and must be detail-oriented. Job Responsbilities Include: -Review correspondence for purposes of updating electronic trademark database, CPi. This includes identifying information to be included in CPi and any applicable deadlines. -Retrieve trademak information from various websites of foreign trademark offices. -Enter, update and maintain records in CPi for all trademark matters. This includes domestic and international prosecution work as well as conflicts and contentious proceedings. Extensive review of correspondence from foreign associates for the purpose of identifying deadlines or information that must be added to the CPi. -Track 3rd party applications for potential enforcement matters. -Oversee and manage the intergration of large client trademark portfolios managed by other firms into our database. -Generate reports detailing various aspects of client trademak portfolios and review these for accuracy. -Create reports detailing upcoming deadlines of client matters. -Manage non-trademark IP matters through CPi. This includes domain names and confiscation by foreign Customs. Requirements Requirements: -Bachelor's degree is required; paralegal certificate is a plus. Minimum 5 year of experience in trademark prosecution -Knowledge of CPi is a must. -Must have working knowledge of Word and Excel.
