Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Major Duties and Responsibilities Lead International Operations, including Finance, Technology, Operations, Claims, Legal and Compliance Define and prioritize the Customer Experience (journey mapping) for customers, inclusive of benchmarking & trend metrics Work with the lines of business to coordinate and optimize the product development lifecycle Increase process efficiencies through robotics, automation and machine learning Improve management information globally to drive improved decision making Ensure all financial reporting is timely, effective and accurate Using data and analytics, provide effective insights to the business to drive growth Establish prioritization of the International A&H technology portfolio. Optimize spend to drive efficiency, increased ease of doing business and transformation to Digital across all of our distribution points Ensure timely and effective claims service to our clients. Drive significant improvements in cycle times Implement improvements in International data capabilities across portfolio management and sales performance management Knowledge, Skills & Abilities BS/BA degree required. Masters preferred Accustomed to and effective at driving change in a matrixed organization. Strong aptitude for technology and agile technology delivery processes Prior direct profit center management experience Demonstrated financial acumen and experience managing a complex insurance P&L Pragmatic, collaborative, and culturally sensitive with the ability to influence senior managers across global markets Strong understanding of the underwriting, claims, operations, legal functions Experience managing a team of insurance leaders Direct experience with analytics and numerical analysis. Metrics and process driven Direct project management experience Prior experience with Six Sigma or process design / optimization Performance management orientation; can use data to drive decision making Ability to plan, organize, and direct the execution of organizational goals and objectives Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Bias for action, ability to make decisions and execute in fast paced environment Reports to: Division President International Accident & Health.
