Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Essential Duties & Responsibilities Own the development and execute of the Global Business Continuity Management strategy for CNA and all of its affiliates Develop and execute a Supplier resiliency management program for CNA to ensure critical supplier have proper resiliency program to ensure delivery of all contracted operations Develop and ensure the delivery of all required training and exercise activities to guarantee the appropriate level of maturity is maintain for the service Create , maintain and ensure timely reporting of all policies, standards and processes supporting the services. These elements must be developed and maintained to current industry regulation and standard frameworks Create , maintain and ensure timely reporting of all metrics of the service, these includes and not limited to the following metrics; Performance, Program and Risk metrics Manage the State/Regulator reporting efforts that required CNA to respond to inquires regarding Business Continuity Preparedness Manage the Supplier Relationship for the Business Resiliency Tool solution used by CNA Partner with Crisis and Disaster Recovery management service owners to help drive the overall improvement of CNA Business Resiliency posture Partner with BU BCM coordinators/planner to drive compliance and execution for all phase of BCM program management Partner with senior level business executives to ensure alignment, adoption, support and resourcing of Business Continuity Management initiatives for their respective organizations Lead the efforts with Enterprise Procurement Group(EPG) - Vendor Management Office (VMO) and Information Security Management (VMO) in the development and execution of supplier resiliency program. Partner with Corporate Security and Safety regarding planning, respond and recovery of business process that are supported under the BCM program Improved use of current BCM Planning tool set, to ensure all phases of the BCM Lifecycle are capture and monitors. These effort must also ensure alignment with future company goals and objectives Partner with Information Technology service owners regarding planning, respond and recovery of business process that are supported under the BCM program Reporting Relationship Typically reports to AVP or above Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Service Owner is seen as the Enterprise Subject Matter Expert, leveraging industry standards and expertise to improve and maintain service maturity Strong operational excellence for operational resilience and risk management and mitigation, excellent capabilities in process improvement and mapping Expert use of technical resiliency program analytics for influencing strategic and day-to-day business decision making, as well as the traditional program responsibility of responding to and recovering from threats and disasters Strong communication skills are required, ability to facilitate awareness and program exercises at all levels of the organization Result driven leader, with an innovated approach to solving the must complex service requirements, customer-focused when delivering outcomes Education & Experience Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or other related field; Master s Degree preferred. Typically at 10 years of experience developing and implementing BCP programs. Experience working with Managed Service Providers. Experience in insurance, financial services or other regulated industry. Related Certifications preferred.
