Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities Primary technical support person for day-to-day technical operations of the National Human Trafficking Hotline; Primary technical support person for the onboarding and training of Hotline Advocates, providing the necessary hardware and facilitating access to software; Support remote hotline operations during system outages, maintenance periods, weather events, fire-drills, etc. Member of the Polaris help desk system; respond to helpdesk tickets and work with staff to resolve their issues in a communicative and professional manner; Create and maintain technology operations documentation; Support administration of Google Apps, Windows Server environments, telephony systems, Salesforce, Polaris web environment, and other web services; Provide recommendations and when approved, purchase new information technology products, including software and hardware; Identify new areas for technology system growth, development, and improvement; taking initiative to propose potential solutions; Support major projects to include: research, planning, and implementing new IT systems; Consult with Polaris s partners and vendors to provide technical assistance; Assist with other duties related to the work of the technology team as needed. Required Qualifications: Required Qualifications Must be experienced with networked Windows environments. Experience troubleshooting technology/IT issues, such as network connection issues, printing issues, file sharing issues, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both a technical and non-technical audience. Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and within a short time frame. Able to adapt quickly to changing situations or user needs. Must be flexible to be on a rotating on-call schedule during after-hours and during weekends, for emergency systems recovery. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Technology certifications relating to this position such as: CompTIA certifications, MCSA, CISSP, CCNA, etc. Previous help desk experience. Previous experience working with a hotline/call-center. Previous experience working with a non-profit organization.
