Job Responsibilities and Requirements: In this role, you will focus on analyzing the market and competition to create insights. You'll also work closely with the core product marketing, product management, and sales training and enablement teams to also understand the optimal methods and tactics to enable the field. Responsibilities Maintain relationships and understand the pulse of the field in relation to the sale of Google Cloud products and solutions with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solution needs. Create innovative competitive intelligence initiatives to drive the fast proliferation of Google Cloud products and solutions with the field. Serve as the window to the competitor. Attend market events, speak with industry experts/customers, analyze sales focused competitive insights and present to Sales teams for supporting business growth. Dig deep into the competitors key strengths, weaknesses and turn that into competitive insights and high value assets with a refresh cadence that our sales teams can use. Develop productivity analysis framework, metrics, analytics, drive programs for continuous improvement, develop organizational efficiency. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. 7 years of work experience in product management, product marketing, or equivalent experience in the enterprise software technology industry. Preferred qualifications: Experience in a competitive intelligence role, with experience in organizing and growing a program. Experience in direct selling and/or enabling or engaging with sales teams and channels. Experience in analyzing cloud technologies and providers (IaaS, PaaS, Data Analytics, Machine Learning), with knowledge of enterprise software technology across the entire stack and a desire to learn new technologies. Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment with excellent team-building skills. Excellent analytical, strategic, presentation and communication skills, with ability to develop creative/non-traditional solutions for undefined challenges.
