Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Looking to hire a Copyright Coordinator to work in our studio music publishing department. This role will interact with many areas of the studio with regards to film and television copyright including music cue sheets, CWR work registrations and US Copyright Office filings. Responsibilities: Set up new works in iMaestro.Register works with the US Copyright Office.CWR registrations and updates. Resolve basic copyright disputes with PRO s and sub publishers. Review, approve and globally distribute film & television cue sheets.Identify and register all featured works for television. Manage the completion and final delivery of accurate cue sheets for local news, Sports, DVD releases and New Regency. Coordinate mechanical licenses as needed.Handle all related work and various projects as requested by the department SVP.General office management duties.Coordinate intern program (i.e. recruit, manage, train, and mentor interns). Ad hoc projects and responsibilities as required. 3 years prior Music Copyright experience and familiarity with iMaestro required. College degree in music industry related field preferred. Highly organized and detail oriented.The ability to work on a day to day basis without daily direction. Strong data entry skills with high degree of accuracy. Knowledge of CWR and RapidCue a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.Ability to work well in a team environment essential.
