Job Responsibilities and Requirements: RESPONSIBILITIES Setup and administer the Enterprise GIS system, including deployments of ESRI's ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcSDE, GeoEvent Server and Esri License Server. Monitor performance, and suggest infrastructure changes, enhancements, and upgrades as necessary Leverage Enterprise GIS system and related IT systems to design workflows and applications for internal business users Provide end user support for desktop and web applications, troubleshooting issues, and suggesting tools to accommodate user needs Manage cross-function IT projects that rely heavily on GIS technology or data Keep up with new GIS and related technologies and recommend as innovative solutions when possible Assist in periodic processing of non-spatial data for use in the GIS system using FME, Python, and/or GeoEvent Server Act as GIS technical lead to develop yearly and long range IT/GIS strategies for the purpose of budgeting, and to advance the organizational GIS vision REQUIREMENTS 3+ years of experience designing, installing, and administering Enterprise GIS systems that utilize ArcGIS software 5+ years of hands-on experience with ESRI software including ArcGIS Enterprise, Desktop, and Portal for ArcGIS Experienced in working with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and/or other RDMS's and Windows server environments. Understanding of data storage systems, authentication, network and other security concepts Knowledge in geospatial concepts such as spatial analysis, types of GIS data, coordinate reference systems, etc. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to clearly and persuasively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in written form. Understanding of Visio designs and UML concepts Bachelor or Master's Degree in Geography, Computer Science, GIS, or related field Recommended Qualifications Experience using FME Desktop and FME Server Experience utilizing Python to script GIS desktop and server processes Experience administering SQL and Oracle Server Experience with ESRI's GeoEvent Server Knowledge of project management fundamentals and experience with Microsoft Project Some knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, web hosting on IIS, experience with ESRI's JavaScript API for ArcGIS and RESTful request handling of web services Experience with securing ArcGIS architecture over HTTPS and SSL certificate generation ESRI Enterprise System Design and/or Enterprise Administration Associate certification.
