Essential Functions: Develop Financial results that maximize sales, inventory, and bottom line profitability Develop skills necessary for advancement Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality Key Activities: Advocate for and develop location financial plans that support Field/My Company requests including distortions and add/edit requests Advocate and reconcile bottoms up location plans with Omni Financial Planner Develop by-store assortment plans which support overall business and promotional strategies Make assortment recommendations to Omni Buyers using historical locational analysis to identify key opportunities - inclusive of regional, climate and ethnicity opportunities Manage Market process by setting order quantities considering optimal depth/breadth by size, color and location, including for Distribution Centers (coordinating with Omni Inventory Management team) Suggest adjustment to flow timing (start/stop/peak) to ensure merchandise arrives to each location at optimal point in season. Key Partnership/Interactions: Omni Inventory Planner & Associate/Assistant Inventory Planner allocations and replenishment minimum presentations Omni Associate/Assistant Buyer & Digital Associate/Assistant Merchant discussion of My Company assortments by location assortment recommendations Field Organization receive regional strategies/locational assortment Qualifications: Education/Experience Bacheolor s Degree (Business, Finance, Marketing or equivalent) 2 years retail buying or planning experience Communication Skills Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to influence Other Skills Strong analytical and excel skill Result-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency Ability to develop, plan, present and execute strategies Readily grasps numerical concepts and interprets financial information accurately; ability to utilize retail math skills to analyze and drive business This job description is not all inclusive.
