Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Role Responsibilities -Sales and Marketing executive interface to Human Resources -Act as a team player and work closely with the field marketing team to determine appropriate dates and locations of events throughout the year -Work closely with hotels, restaurants, and other venues for contract negotiations and pre-event planning through fulfillment of banquet event orders with food selections, room setups, audio visual needs, and any other onsite requirements -Hands-on involvement in a variety of tradeshow logistics, including working with vendors for exhibit booth production, developing booth schedules, coordinating collateral and giveaway orders, and acting as onsite lead for exhibit setups and breakdowns -Plan, order, prep, and inventory upkeep of giveaways, raffles, and client gifts for events throughout the year -Create registration sites to track and manage registrations before events -Purchase and maintain event supply orders to ensure attendee badges and packets are prepared in advanced of events As a managed security provider, SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned. Requirements -At least 6 years of experience producing large-scale user conferences and/or annual sales meetings -Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field -Prior experience in creative and detailed event project planning - executing events from start to finish -Experience in writing event emails, social media, and website communications -Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs., may entail long periods of sitting and standing -Willingness to travel up to 30% -Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or related field Preferred -Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Office suite - experience with Adobe Creative Suite developing registration sites.
