Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: Provides a broad range of support to trademark paralegals and counsel, including file creation, data entry, docketing of deadlines, word processing, basic document drafting, and copying. Requests and processes checks, wire transfers and bank drafts. Coordinates meeting and travel arrangements. Processes and monitors travel expense reports and third-party invoices. Maintains departmental databases for tracking of third-party vendor invoices and departmental budget, document retention and destruction, and off-site storage. Updates Law Department materials. Performs other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: 2-5 Years of related professional experience, ideally within the legal field Associates Degree or equivalent experience. 5 years of administrative assistant experience, including 2 years at the corporate executive level Previous trademark experience a plus. Skills: Proven experience in law office work environment with Microsoft Office, scanners, fax machines, telephone conferencing and voicemail. Experience with Serengeti legal billing system or WebTMS or DiamsIQ trademark docketing systems a plus. Demonstrated ability to adapt to high-pressure deadlines and maintain positive and professional demeanor. Effective communication with all levels of corporation, internal and external legal counsel and outside service providers. Ability to maintain confidentiality as required. Ability to perform difficult administrative tasks. Detail oriented; perform multiple tasks at once. Knowledge of English language and grammar necessary for effective verbal/written communications with internal/external contacts; familiarity with business and legal communication and report writing techniques.
