Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: The role will be involved in a combination of the following duties dependent on the assigned project: Understanding and utilizing estimating manuals, systems and forms Performing assigned quantity survey Reviewing quantity survey assignment with lead Estimator or Chief Estimator Providing quantities of major purchase items to purchasing department for pricing Transferring and reviewing quantities to lead estimator Performing general subtrade solicitation duties Bid document control Performing bid day assignments Visiting job sites periodically Developing relationships with trade contractors Other duties as assigned by the Chief Estimator Qualifications: You must have a degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or Construction Management or a minimum of 2 years of estimating experience.
