Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Position's purpose: To support HPMC's efforts to continually improve the quality, safety, and satisfaction in the care delivered that are supported and prioritized by the department. Development, implementation and administration of hospital-wide performance improvement (PI). Plan, direct and supervise PI issues, coordinates with regulatory, licensing and accreditation agencies as well as provide administrative oversight to the infection prevention department and its activities. Orient Medical staff and Directors to development of department specific PI plans and information management of clinical risk management issues. Qualifications: Masters degree preferred or equivalent experience Administrative experience (8 to 10 years in an acute care setting) with a Bachelors Degree. Documented working knowledge of PI principles, infection prevention and clinical risk management. Knowledge of TJC Standards, Title 22, DHS and other regulatory requirements.
