Job Responsibilities and Requirements: There are a number of cross-portfolio responsibilities and initiatives that will require teaming with other Portfolio owners (e.g. treatment planning) and other process owners, R&D leadership, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Commercial/Sales and Global Field operations and Manufacturing. This role will This is a leadership role that requires understanding FDA regulated, medical device environments (specifically radiation oncology), setting unique strategies in place for both new and existing diverse hardware and software platforms environments. You will lead a team that collaborates with sites and customers around the world and defines product capabilities, drives product requirements, and work across teams to deliver successful products to market. You will routinely present to executive audiences both internally and externally. You will be responsible for producing forecasts based on an innovative global solutions roadmap, and for attaining specific quarterly financial and non-financial business objectives across the portfolio as well as pro-forma product line performance. The decision authority of this role spans the entire product lifecycle from inception to end-of-life, and includes long term strategic planning, prioritization, product development, product positioning, promotion, and pricing strategy. You will direct market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment, resulting in new product definition and business plans that drive growth. Job Requirements Master s degree or higher, preferably in a scientific field 15 years of experience in the medical device industry, preferably in the fields of radiation or medical oncology, and preferably 5 years of experience in complex hardware and software systems (capital equipment) 10 years management experience, preferably 5 years experience managing managers 5 years P&L management experience Ability, competence and confidence to lead people Management of a successful product or portfolio that has outperformed its competition Demonstrated ability to execute winning product strategies against challenging market forces Demonstrated ability to craft compelling and creative business cases Demonstrated ability for synthesizing and executing complex business strategies Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
