Job Responsibilities and Requirements: At International Corporation, you'll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement. Defines, plans, designs, and evaluates information security systems. Assesses architecture and current hardware limitations, defines and designs system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Performs a variety of complex tasks associated with information security ranging from the design of security components to complex architectures. Supervises the work of other engineers performing a variety of information security tasks. Capable of independent program supervision. Candidate will manage all Vulnerability Assessment Team (VAT) activities including the automated and manual tests of information systems, to include vulnerability scans, penetration testing, source code reviews and Web application testing. Candidate will ensure a variety of techniques are used by VAT to perform tests and assessments. The candidate should be comfortable researching and understanding a wide variety of information systems and emerging technologies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform as main interface between government leadership and team activities Demonstrate ability to speak to each technical aspect of the various VAT assessments, while performing the administration required to maintain team continuity. Provide SME-level support and guidance to team members Manage VAT Security Assessment schedule Manage development and submission of all contract deliverables Develop and manage VAT Project Plan Review and ensure that VAT SOP's are updated and followed accordingly Work with government PM to develop documented standardized skills test for evaluating all new staff Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and System Security Plans (SSP) as required, and review for accuracy Respond to data calls Lead monthly Program Management Reviews Position Requirements: Masters or 15 years of IT experience, including at least 10 years of IT Security experience Project Management Experience Senior Cyber Security Professional, possessing technical hands-on experience performing Red/Blue security assessment testing, as well as Vulnerability Assessment experience Broad knowledge of security best practices, security solutions, and methodologies for conducting advance security assessments, to include manual assessments and malicious user testing Candidate should have a strong understanding of the security policies of Department of Justice and FBI, as well as security guidelines published by the National Institute of Standards (e.g., 800-53 rev 4 and 800-53a, 800-37, and 800-118) Must have two of the following certifications; CISSP, ISACA, OSCP, CISA, GPEN or GWAPT, C\|EH PMP Certification is preferred.
