Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Essential Job Functions Implement and update as needed all procedures for new loan set-up and ongoing monitoring and control of sub servicer s loan administration activities. Confirm timely set-up of loans by sub servicer and timely deposit of funds to custodial bank accounts. Review all custodial bank account reconciliations and explanations of any open or un-reconciled items. Ensure all payment and payoff activities are completed by the sub-servicer in a timely manner. Confirm timely delivery and accuracy of all investor reports, reconciliations and cash remittances. Review delinquent loans to confirm that adequate efforts have been made to contact borrowers at different times of the day, evenings and weekends. Oversee the day-to-day work of the Loan Servicing Specialists that report to this position. Understand and resolve any tax, insurance, and escrow issues that sub-servicer requests guidance on. Meet with sub-servicer on a periodic basis to review delinquency trends, procedures and any unique situations affecting the Bank portfolio. Confirm that the year end 1098 reporting is completed in a timely manner by the sub-servicer. Coordinate loan accounting and act as a liaison between Mortgage Loan Servicing and Accounting by specifically assisting in the research and resolution of accounting related items. Complete the monthly reconciliation and certification of all general ledger accounts in a timely manner as required by Accounting. Monitor delinquency and default account activity and coordinate activities with the Bank s Credit Administration Department and Special Assets Department as required. Cover the job functions of the Secondary Marketing Manager in their absence. Requirements Job Qualifications / Requirements Required: Ten+ years experience in multi-state residential lending field required with an emphasis on agency, private investor and portfolio loan servicing activities Required: Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines simultaneously Required: Effective verbal and written communication skills Required: Strong organizational skills with a willingness to adapt to change as needed in a fast-paced environment Required: Ability to effectively work with department team members and other stake holders Preferred: 4 year college education in business-related field or equivalent knowledge, plus additional training in the financial field preferred Education Minimum Education Level: Bachelors Degree Preferred Major: Finance Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ Combination of Experience and Education can meet the job requirements: Yes Language Requirements English: Written: Advanced Verbal: Fluent Computer / Systems Knowledge Requirements Microsoft Outlook: Advanced Microsoft Word: Advanced Microsoft Excel: Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint: Advanced FiServ System: Intermediate Fidelity MSP Servicing System: Intermediate Passport Reporting: Intermediate Physical Demands Lifting/Carrying Under 10 lbs: Frequent (34%-66% of time) 11-20 lbs: Occasional (1%-33% of time) Pushing/Pulling Under 10 lbs: Frequent (34%-66% of time) Twisting/Turning Sit: Constant (over 66% of time) Walk-Normal Surfaces: Frequent (34%-66% of time) Other Keyboard/Ten Key: Frequent (34%-66% of time).
