Project Manager

Jersey City New Jersey Seeking a Contract Project Manager to work for 7 months. The candidate will be managing projects that have both business process and technology components. Thorough understanding of project documentation protocols with the ability to write business requirements specifications, risk assessments and plans, testing plans and scripts as well as thorough project plans. Experience managing user acceptance testing including defect and issue tracking to resolution. Candidate should also be able to conduct weekly status meetings for senior leadership and provide supporting documentation and/or presentations. Initiates and maintains reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business units and ensure continuous efficient management of projects; gathers input and feedback. Should have 5+ years of project management experience, PMP preferred. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Financial services experience with a background in corporate actions/dividends is a strong plus. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) as well as Visio and MS Project. Process mapping experience preferred.
