Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This team touches all areas of Capital One that incur operational risk - from new products to strategic initiativesto risk events and beyond. In partnership with your ORM teammates and key business stakeholders acrossthe enterprise, you'll help lead the charge that will transform how risk-related data drives business decisionsand, ultimately, how Capital One maintains a robust operational risk management profile. Successful Risk Managers on this team think broadly across all facets of Operational Risk and use deepsubject matter expertise to effectively advise and/or challenge first line business partners. They are highlyadept communicators, influencers, and strategic thinkers. As liaisons between ORM and the enterprise, theseleaders are also highly analytical and collaborative with superior judgement and project/process managementskills. Whether consulting on large scale projects or interpreting the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape,they are forward thinking, quick to adapt, and technologically inclined. A successful candidate will:- Provide challenge to the first line of defenses risk-taking and risk assessments- Evaluate the operational risk profile and risk analysis for our lines of business (LOBs), culminating inquarterly Divisional Operation Risk Reporting- Work across the multiple dimensions of operational risk programs and understand how they impactLOBs- Lead analysis on risk information to gain risk insights- Consult on initiatives, business objectives, processes, risk events, controls and/or monitoring- Influence executives of key operational risks and actions needed- Develop ad-hoc analysis, deep dive investigations and drive specific risk initiatives as needed- Manage projects and lead workstreams that support project and/or team objectives Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor s Degree or military experience- At least 4 years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit or Finance- At least 4 years of experience in a combination of Project, Process or Change Management- At least 4 years of experience working with internal business customers- At least 3 years of experience performing business analysis using either Excel or Tableau- At least 1 year of experience creating and maintaining information in Google Suite Products (Slidesand Sheets)Preferred Qualifications:- Master s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Accounting or Economics- At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance or Assurance within thefinancial industry- At least 4 years in Client Consulting- At least 5 years of Project Management experience leading cross functional programs in Risk- At least 5 years of experience performing business analysis using tools like Excel or TablesCapital One Confidential- Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager(CRCM) At this time.
