Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Design Engineer to join the Mechanical and Structures Engineering team located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a member of this team, you will execute design modifications and upgrades for Bomber programs, Executive Transport Services & Support (ETS&S) and Airborne Surveillance Command and Control (ASC2). is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems. Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university. 10 or more years of experience in mechanical systems design. Experience in the design and/or analysis of aircraft modifications. 10 or more years of experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD). 5 or more years of experience leading projects or teams. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Engineering degree in Mechanical and/or Aerospace preferred. CATIA, ENOVIA, and/or Unigraphics experience a PLUS Experience as an Engineering Unit Member (UM) and/or Designated Engineering Representative (DER) with an Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) organization would be a PLUS. 8 years of experience with mechanical systems for 737 Classic and/or 737 New Generation aircraft would be a PLUS. Experience with three or more the following Flight System ATA Chapters for the 737 platform: 29 - Hydraulic Power 32 - Landing gear 35 - Oxygen Systems 38 - Water and Waste 49 - Airborne Auxiliary Power 70 thru 80 - Engine & Engine Components Typical Education/Experience: Bachelor's 14 or more years' experience, Master's with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
