At every level, our engineers have a significant technical and business impact designing and building innovative new systems to power our customer s business critical applications. Senior DevOps Engineer Preferred Qualifications: Seeking an experienced developer/systems engineer to assist with the development and support of various platforms and infrastructure services, with a focus on kubernetes. The individual should have experience with both traditional development/engineering projects as well as working in a DevOps role. This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment looking for strong communication and teamwork skills as well as the ability to adapt to shifting priorities. The candidate should be familiar with some of the following: Containers and Container Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, etc). Development of web-based and standalone applications (JavaScript, Python, Go) Configuration management tools, Chef and/or Ansible preferred Linux server administration and configuration Virtualization (KVM) Building/maintaining highly available, distributed architectures in the cloud (OCI, AWS, etc.) Source control (Git) and package management tools (npm, pip, etc.) Test-Driven development Data analysis, centralized logging, security engineering and operations Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines such as Jenkins Functional Responsibilities: Design, build, and deploy a kubernetes infrastructure to support various service team efforts. Work on ancillary efforts as part of the platform engineering group Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation when needed Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of three (3) years of general work experience and three (3) years of relevant experience in functional responsibility Candidate should have experience working with infrastructure as a service or clouds (OCI, Amazon Web Services, etc.) Candidate should have experience supporting the SDLC through use of DevOps methodologies Candidate should have strong analytical and organizational skills Candidate should have concise communication skills Experience with securing Cloud environments preferred Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
