Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Function)Perform corporate, subsidiary and project cash flow and variance analysis. Assist in completion of annual treasury cash forecast and financing plan, support rating agency forecast and presentations, and research, interpret and analyze current business practices, business structure and cash flow ratios across the various platforms. Assist in preparation of various presentations for senior management. Reconcile actual information and prepare analysis explaining differences to budgets and forecasts. Conduct the analysis and evaluation of potential investments, acquisitions, divestitures and other investments in accordance with organization objectives. Develop and maintain forecasting models, accurately reflect regulatory and company guidelines and policies and sufficiently automate processes to ensure timely completion of the financial forecast. Coordinate and communicate inputs and results of the financial forecast including the development and preparation of concise and meaningful reports for different audiences. Support BHE internal project development opportunities through preparation of extensive project modeling primarily for the Renewables platform. Duties include: developing valuation models validating senior management internal rates of return targets utilizing various development and contract provision inputs concerning varying types of generation development, and analyzing various financing options associated with project development activities in the energy industry such as solar, wind, geothermal, gas or hydro. Compile, analyze, research and interpret data to prepare reports, corporate and asset acquisition/divestiture analysis, forecast future trends and stays abreast of economic changes and industry topics. Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Certification or advanced degree such as CPA, MBA or CFA beneficial. Five or more years related work experience in public accounting, financial forecasting, financial modeling and/or financial analysis. Strong accounting and analytical skills; knowledge of financial analysis methods and tools. Advanced software skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and ability to utilize advanced modeling techniques such as programming in order to automate model functionality. Effective oral and written communication skills. Analytical skills to effectively monitor developments in forecasted and actual data and the ability to draw logical conclusions from analysis. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
