Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Program Manager - Technical Publications and Data Administration is responsible for providing program oversight for enterprise publications system and leading aggregate data analytics. As the primary business administrator and internal champion for the technical publications system, this position will provide governance to the foundational system, educate and train users, and monitor the corporate growth strategy of the system to ensure the functionality meets growing requirements of a unified platform. As the manual system program matures, the position s focus will include oversight of other departmental applications and predictive data analytics. Technical Publication System Oversight Administration of internal and external compliance requirements, policies, procedures and work instructions; performance monitoring, incident and problem management, change and configuration management, and vendor/ IT service level performance. This position must keep abreast of technical publication industry trends and ATA 2200/2300 developments. Technical publications application governance, education and training Publication system testing and validation Publication policy and procedures Data Administration Design and develop statistical models and improved data collection based on the operating needs of the organization. This position will support strategic development and maintenance of data, maintain database storage and efficiencies of large data, integrate data streams, transform and prepare data for broader usage, keep requirements consistent with network data security policies, and audit data quality Predictive and prescriptive analytics Visualize complex data Model intricate data algorithms Prepare routine/ad hoc reports Consult with data customers Safety Reporting System Administration Safety reporting application governance, education and training Partner and troubleshoot with internal/external customers Vendor management and system advocate for product upgrades/integration activities Act as business liaison with subject matter experts, vendor support, technical support, and procurement regarding system functionality, support upgrades, integration, deployment and system changes Communicate with cross-divisional teams on future software upgrades and build/patch deployment activities Act as system administrator for the TechSuite System and related authoring application during future product integrations and enhancements Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Studies, Information Systems, Business, Technical Writing, Statistical Analysis or related discipline Experience with XML Editors and content management platforms (SharePoint, PTC Arbortext and Windchill, FrameMaker, XMetal, etc.) Working knowledge with standard documentation processes Knowledge of content management systems, publishing processes and standards, desktop publication and electronic distribution platforms Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills Proven problem solving and organizational skills Ability to quickly understand complex systems and explain them to varied audiences Ability to work independently, and handle stress in a fast paced, multi-task oriented atmosphere Demonstrated advanced use of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Visio Attention to detail 4 years in a related field with minimum of 2 or more years work experience in the field of data administration and technical publications software Exposure to cross-divisional change management/facilitation Position will require travel up to 50% to Denver and Houston Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position Preferred Master s degree Work experience with data architecture and data engineering Working knowledge of pertinent Federal Aviation Regulations, FAA Advisory Circulars, IOSA and Standards and Recommended Practices, ISO 9001 standards, and documentation standards Work knowledge of IT collaboration/development with focus on user experience Working knowledge of XML, HTML and XSLT coding Working knowledge of PTC Arbortext Editor and Windchill working knowledge Understanding of basic project management principles Proficiency in facilitating cross functional groups or activities Root cause analysis Human Factors Work experience in statistics, reports and data visualization Work experience in technical writing Experience creating and conducting system test scripts Experience participating in major software releases Equal Opportunity Employer.
