Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsible for effective management of CRA residential loan sales team. Ensure that established policies, procedures and compliance requirements are followed. Responsible for hiring, training, developing, coaching CRA Residential Loan Officers. Represent the company at various community functions. Supervises a team of 3 or more residential loan officers and loan officer assistants, in multiple locations. Responsible for expanding and deepening customer relationships by identifying customers' needs comprehensively and matching their needs with selections and resources within the colleague's assigned business line and across all business lines of Associated Bank. This position requires a credit check per 12 CFR Chapter X, Part 1026, Truth in Lending, Regulation Z. COMPLIANCE STATEMENT Responsible for selling Associated Bank products to existing customers and prospects. Responsible for expanding and deepening customer relationships by identifying and matching customer needs throughout Trust, Business Banking, Private Banking and Retail Departments. Our goal is to simplify the customer experience and deliver outstanding service to every customer, every time. Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and S.A.F.E. Act requirements. Must submit required information to meet registry requirements, obtain a unique identifier, and maintain the registration requirements as directed by the S.A.F.E Act. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn t meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associated s anonymous Ethics Hotline. KEY RESULT AREAS Sales Sales and activity tracking Supervision Team Support JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES Under limited supervision, develops and implements plans for achieving sales team goals to include production goals, compliance and regulatory measures, customer satisfaction expectations, and center of influence development. Manages CRA sales efforts daily by establishing clear individual and team goals and coaching staff. Establishes goals that are: specific and measurable to include client referral and cross- selling by product with a consistent emphasis on the total customer banking relationships. Motivates team to truly deliver great customer experience. Recruits, selects, trains, develops, assigns work to, and reviews job performance of sales team. Responsible for effective communication between the loan sales team, loan processing team, underwriting and mortgage management, as well as other Associated Bank business partners. Assumes overall administrative responsibility for loan sales team production. Works closely with Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor and loan support staff in the areas of loan pipeline and exception management. Ensures that residential loan officers make regular business development calls to solicit new business or improve services with (CRA - home buyer counseling agencies, community organizations), real estate agents, and existing customers. Periodically attends meetings of real estate companies, (CRA - home buyer counseling agencies, community organizations) to explain new mortgage programs and qualifications, resolve problems, discuss current loan changes, and so forth. Represents Associated Bank at industry functions and meetings. Upholds the bank s philosophy and all policies by maintaining appropriate controls to assure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsible for the understanding, knowledge and management of all required training and compliance issues for the loan sales team. Initiates new business opportunities for the bank through the development of new prospects, centers of influence and excellent service of existing client relationships. Actively call on centers of influence. Manages expenses and within approved guidelines. Makes decisions to enhance bank performance and profitability. Responsible for oversight of Loan Production Offices including staffing, maintenance and administrative duties. EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Finance, economics, real estate or other business related field. Required Bachelor's Degree Finance, economics, real estate or other business related field. Preferred EXPERIENCE 2-4 years Mortgage lending experience in a financial institution and/or sales management experience. Required 4-7 years Mortgage lending experience in a financial institution and/or sales management experience. Preferred 2-4 years In addition, experience working with home buyer counseling agencies and community organizations with a focus on achieving the Community Reinvestment Act objectives of the financial institution Preferred.
