Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager, Tectum Exposed Structures: Driving and growing profitable sales for all product lines Building relationships with key contractors, architects, designers, distributors, and end users to achieve customer satisfaction and influence the specification and purchase of Tectum/AWI commercial systems Implementing all product and marketing strategies for commercial products Providing input to and managing the sales budget Analyzing and controlling expenditures of the assigned region to conform to budgetary requirements Monitoring and evaluating the activities and products of the competition Analyzing sales statistics to formulate policies and assist sales agents in promoting sales Advising sales representatives concerning sales and advertising techniques Assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals Delivering sales presentations to key customers in coordination with sales representatives Providing input regarding Voice of the Customer programs for key customers Traveling to customers to solicit Voice of the Customer program participation Attending distributor and sales training classes, along with customer visits to company locations Required Qualifications for the Sales Manager, Tectum Exposed Structures: Bachelor s degree in business, construction management, architecture, interior design, or another related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Commercial building product sales experience Working knowledge and experience with construction, contracting, specification sales, and knowledge of market segments and customers Proficient with software such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Windows applications Preferred Qualifications for the Sales Manager, Tectum Exposed Structures: Experience selling interior product finishes.
