Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities for the analyst position include but are not limited to:o Review of data privacy, cross border, outsourcing and bank secrecy laws, regulations, guidelines, etc. in the 95 countries where does business; evaluate all related major regulatory changes. Collaborate on a daily basis with the other regional CBDC teams and with Country and Regional Legal, ICRM, and O&T staff to assist in the resolution of inquiries generated by the countries. Provide guidance to businesses on new initiatives coming into CBDC for review. Review and provide direct clearances for some country initiatives as assigned. Collaborate and define execution strategy including planning, scheduling and have end to end ownership to execute critical CBDC projects (i.e., GDPR) with multiple stakeholders. Develop full scale project plans, schedule project timelines, document action items and ensure all issues / concerns are documented. Foster strong relationships, manage cross-discipline projects, and demonstrate timely delivery of products including reports, risk/issue identification, and communications. Interact with business and technology teams to understand technology solutions and components that drive high priority programs and ensure close collaboration with other CBDC teams to facilitate clearance. Interact with and coordinate cross-functional regulatory activities at various levels of the organization including Compliance, Business, Legal, Operations, and Technology. Juris Doctorate degree or equivalent; and 6 year(s) related experience in data privacy, cross border / outsourcing regulations, operational/technology risk management with a strong understanding of technology. Ability to read and interpret laws and guidelines of many countries. Ability to drive progression of multiple projects through collaboration and leadership, Ability to influence others, result oriented, work independently with minimal oversight required. Ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the organization, as well as ability to provide succinct messaging to the senior leadership across Citi. Ability to multitask, have the ability to understand complex issues and find solutions, results oriented, be a go - getter and with excellent problem solving ability. Strong team orientation and interpersonal skills. Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills. Excellent organizational skills, demonstrated sense of responsibility and results oriented. Good analytical skills to drive data analysis. Proficiency in MS office tools is a must (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). CIPP certification a plus.
