Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The position is responsible for ensuring all web servers, platforms and any other middleware meet corporate and team standards as far as security, maintainability, scalability and performance. Regularly researches state of the art programming languages, practices, standards, frameworks and various other technologies and shares these discoveries with other members of the team. The selected position should have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding customer expectations, successfully teaming cross-organizationally, consistently delivering on schedule, and a demonstrated desire to learn new technologies, concepts, and processes. Proactively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies. Seeks and participates in development opportunities above and beyond the required levels and mentors those with less experience through informal means. Networks successfully with a diverse technical population to solicit work to foster technical growth of the team. QUALIFICATIONS: Required Skills - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with related classwork/internship experience or 4 years additional related software development experience in lieu of degree - Two (2) years of minimum of application development experience - Productionization of at least 1 or more customer-funded products/applications - Proficient in at least 3 programming languages - Proficient in Linux environments - Proficient in at least one relational database - Experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript - Solid experience in Data Structures and Algorithms - Solid understanding of Object Oriented design and concepts - Experience with TDD, BDD and Extreme Programming - Experience with Agile work flows - Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills - Obsessed with the customer experience - Can start uncleared but must be able to start clearance upon acceptance and must have the ability to obtain and maintain a required US DOE Q security clearance. Desired Skills - Experience with Python - Experience with Ruby on Rails - Experience with iOS mobile development - Passion towards R&D technologies such as Computer Vision and Machine Learning DISL ABQS.
