Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Job Responsibilities: Develop, implement, enhance and maintain a comprehensive regulatory compliance management system for the business focused on the business products, services and platforms. Assess and audit the effectiveness of existing systems, products and practices, develop a comprehensive risk assessment regarding regulatory compliance, and recommend and implement enhancements. Develop, direct and oversee the implementation of regulatory compliance plans based on legal and regulatory requirements, financial and budgetary planning, contractual requirements, company policies and feasibility of technological adoption. Ensure that the business products and services comply with applicable laws, regulations and industry best practices Participate in, guide and support product design, development and testing efforts to ensure new and enhanced products and services comply with applicable laws, regulations and industry best practices. Periodically assess and test product functionality in operation to ensure that existing products and services, and the manner in which they are being used, comply with applicable laws, regulations and industry best practices. Monitor the regulatory landscape and industry best practices related to operations of the business products and the business clients, and proactively manage impacts, including necessary technology changes Act as the central resource for the intake and assessment of issues and complaints regarding whether products and services comply with applicable laws and regulations when raised by employees, clients, regulators and any other third parties Partner with business leadership to understand ongoing risk posture, risk initiatives, statuses, etc. Proactively monitor and escalate compliance, regulatory and other risks as appropriate. Communicate with business leaders on risks, concerns and prioritiesServe as primary RSC escalation point for risk topicsManage, maintain and evolve relevant risk metrics for ongoing communication to BU and group level senior leadership. Metrics should be inclusive of related remediation and project statusesParticipate in the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) for the businessDevelop trusted working partnerships with IT, Ops and SLTLead and organize RSC budget, strategy processes (e.g. TSR, etc.) and team administration activities (e.g. HR processes, etc.) Participate as a member of the Billing and Payments Group (BPG) Risk Leadership team for collaboration, knowledge sharing, strategy development and support of BPG Group risk transformation program activities Drive BPG Risk strategy into BU activities and be a champion of change and transformation in risk functions Facilitate/oversee ongoing development, maturity and reporting of risk metrics to the BPG Group risk teamPromptly escalate known risks, issues, incidents, etc. to BPG Group Risk leadership Manage, coordinate and oversee BU RSC team Responsible to ensure appropriate and responsive RSC integration with business activities Mentor team and provide guidance on risk management philosophy, thresholds, goals and objectivesInfluence the organization through training and education to continually create and reinforce a compliance aware cultureFoster a sense of team via ongoing communications and RSC team activities Periodically assess opportunities to leverage junior or FGS resources in order to optimize management bandwidth and capabilities Mentor junior staff and develop ongoing team talent. Coordinate with BPG RSC team for staff rotation and career path opportunities Clearly articulate, document and communicate resource needs and plans Attend professional meetings, seminars, and continued education programs to remain current in compliance and regulatory requirements and company proceduresResponsible for maintaining accurate, relevant and timely risk, remediation and RSC team related data, information and associated statuses. Identify gaps, common trends and emerging concerns, and document issues and monitor execution of remediation plans of issues identified during oversight activities. Provide leadership to resolve risk, audit and compliance concerns proactively, efficiently, cost effectively and creatively Ensure responsive, appropriate facilitation and support of all client assurance, certification and audit/assurance activities Lead efforts to continually drive ongoing strategy and process improvements across RSC functionsDrive control automation strategies (w/ IT partners) across platforms including control scoping strategies such as ACM and security boundaryContinue to drive maturity in client assurance and contracting processes Continue to drive process improvement, standardization and maturity in business risk processes Participate in, and help facilitate cross-BPG and other risk initiatives as necessary and as mandated by ERR/ETG/CAS, etc. Promote and drive appropriate control and compliance ownership/accountability across business per three lines of defense model. Work with the senior leadership of the business, enterprise risk and corporate audit to ensure compliance initiatives are implemented, reviewed, maintained and governed effectively Oversee remediation and open audit/assessment issues Stay current with issue and project statusesMaintain Risk Vision system of record Monitor and escalate issues, risks, etc. as necessary to SLT stakeholders Serve as risk, security and compliance point of contact for internal and external clients, including regulators and auditors The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job, and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities. Ten or more years of information security or regulatory compliance experience with progressive leadership responsibilities. Previous or current risk management experience is preferred 2. A bachelor s degree from an accredited university 3. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CIA, CISA, CFE, PMP, CRCM, etc.) 4. Prior supervisory experience 5. Prior experience in professional services (audit, consulting, etc.) 6. Experience in developing, implementing and monitoring a comprehensive compliance management system Percentage/frequency of travel 15-20% 180-Day Accomplishments Develop, implement, enhance and maintain a comprehensive regulatory compliance management system for the business focused on the business products, services and platforms.
