Job Responsibilities and Requirements: POSITION SUMMARY: Assist management to achieve corporate financial goals through budget development and preparation, analytical processes, and expense analysis. Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service Assist with special projects and analysis, as assigned Develop and provide process tools and reports to help associates and management analyze and meet financial goals Analyze expenses and revenue, make adjustments, and prepare reports, as assigned Assist in financial model development Reconcile fixed assets to capital budgeting and general ledger Support Return On Investment (ROI) analysis and Capital Appropriation (CA) process Design, develop, and support Essbase applications and the Financial Desktop Support the Fred Meyer operating plan and budget process in assigned areas Administrate leases, sublets, and liability insurance responsibilities as assigned Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS in business accounting or finance plus two years financial analyst experience; or combination of relevant education and experience Minimum 18 years of age Ability to pass drug test Ability to work weekends and holidays on an occasional basis Maintain confidentiality Accuracy/attention to detail Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects Familiarity with accounting/finance technical terms and processes 7,000 SPH ten-key Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Ability to continue education, as necessary Valid driver's license DESIRED PREVIOUS JOB EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure Proficient with Microsoft Access or comparable database software Knowledge of Essbase Add-in and Essbase application manager Education Level: Bachelor's Desired Required Travel: None Required Certifications/Licenses: None Position Type: Full-Time.
