Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Essential Job Functions Responsible for the Chapter's annual income development goal. Hire, train, manage and provide leadership to the Chapter Development team. Provide planning, oversight and supervision for the Chapter's Special Events team for all Chapter events; including Walk to End Alzheimer's, The Longest Day and Third Party Events. Ensure Chapter's income development success through volunteer recruitment, training, engagement, and mobilization in all development initiatives. Provide planning, oversight and supervision for the Chapter's Corporate Support program for events, programmatic and general support of the organization. In coordination with National Major Gifts team and Chapter Development staff, assist with identify, soliciting, cultivating and stewarding relationships with major donors ($10,000 ). Identify, cultivate and solicit intermediate gift donors ($1,000 - $10,000). Develop and maintain fundraising programs to ensure a diverse revenue stream to include: annual campaigns, memorials, tributes, individual gifts, major gifts, planned gifts, corporate sponsorships, foundations, grants and special events. Manage a donor database and acknowledgment system. Serve on Chapter leadership team and participate in strategic planning and budgeting process. Provide leadership and staff support to Fund Development Committee of the Board of Directors. Assist the National Planned Giving team to identify Planned Giving prospects; and support the Planned Giving Advisory Councils. Provide information and articles for Chapter publications including newsletter and annual report. Keep accurate records and provides monthly reports on goals and results in all individual giving revenue budget lines. Assure compliance with all Association policies, standards and regulatory requirements Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience. 5-7 years leadership experience in fundraising using diversified fund development programs and achieving fundraising goals set forth. Proven success record in raising funds via major and planned gifts. Ability to anticipate, identify, organize and implement growth opportunities. Excellent ability to communicate in person, in writing and electronically to a variety of audiences. Successful experience in working with volunteers and board members in fund raising activities. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Power Point. Experience in using fundraising software applications, Results Plus and Team Approach preferred. Ability to travel as needed within Chapter's 7 county regions and to occasional meetings outside the State to perform job duties.
