Job Responsibilities and Requirements: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Oversee all construction contracts within area of responsibility, supported by Site Teams at each geographic location or system based area of responsibility Monitor and oversee construction activities and personnel within the delivery timelines, including development plans and training requirements Keep Superintendent II and Construction Manager II informed of overall construction activity progress & performance along with monitoring and review of construction key performance indicators Provide input to constructability reviews and manages the optimum contractor involvement activities Take reasonable care of your own and others health and safety and of those who may be affected in the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working to the Injury principles Cooperate with all matters relating to health and safety, including following safe working procedures at all times Act as a role model for vision and values, behaving in ways that are in alignment with ways of working while encouraging other to do so as well Promote equality in the workplace and adopt appropriate behavior when interacting with colleagues Take necessary care to properly protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate information from unauthorized disclosure, modification or destruction Supervise & lead teams Manage the construction package elements of the procurement process Monitor contract performance against project milestones, budget and other established metrics Care for and sustain business relationships with multiple clients Responsible for Business Development, Estimating, and Construction as well as follow through with existing clients Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Construction Management, Engineering or related field equivalent combination of education and experience Three years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Take reasonable care of your own and others health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Zero Injury principles Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Read, analyze and interpret blueprints, professional journals, technical procedures, contracts or governmental regulations Write reports, business correspondence and document project activities Effectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients, customers and the general public Effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form ITEMS & TOOLS PROVIDED: Cell phone Company vehicle Fuel card Purchase card Laptop Subsistence (# of days) Travel Pay Rotation.
