Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The candidate will be responsible for the management of all aspects of a global trademark portfolio. Responsibilities: Conduct, review and analyze trademark searches in the US and international databases including the Saegis platformReviewing, analyzing and working with trademark attorneys on comprehensive trademark searches from outside search vendors such as Preparing, filing and assisting in the prosecution of US trademark applications with the USPTO Instructing counsel on filing and prosecution of trademark applications outside of the US Instructing counsel on the filing and prosecution of trademark oppositions, cancellations and other inter partes proceedings; compiling evidence in support of these proceedings Drafting assignment documents for recordation and meeting country-specific requirements, such as notarization and legalization of documents Reviewing and researching trademark watch notices and working with trademark attorneys on potential matters Assisting in the preparation of cease and desist letters and e-commerce and social media platform take-down requests Preparing and filing US trademark renewals and managing outside vendor on trademark renewals outside of the US Managing all deadlines for global trademark portfolio Docketing and record-keeping for the above responsibilities; (experience with WebTMS is a plus)Following up on billing issues.
