Job Responsibilities and Requirements: General responsibilities include: Analyzing program artifacts such as: program plans, systems engineering artifacts, technology roadmaps, requirements documents, analyses of alternatives/business case analyses Analyzing business processes/operations to identify gaps, define requirements Assessing program solutions, designs, and architectures Identifying technical risks including those related to human systems integration Developing recommendations for programs on how to better integrate/address human systems integration activities Directly interfacing with multiple programs to provide guidance and assist them in planning and executing human systems integration activities in domains such as: manpower, personnel (workforce management), training, human factors engineering (HFE), system safety and occupational health, habitability, and personnel survivability Directly supporting programs to assist/guide them in planning and executing test and evaluation events relate to human performance and safety of technology and systems Mandatory Skills: Strong ability and interest in challenging the status quo with better options Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments Ability to work in dynamic and changing environments Comfortable paving new paths, managing resistance, and building consensus Self-motivated Ability to work in teams Other Skills Preferred: Planning and execution of test and evaluation events related to human performance and safety of technology and systems Planning and execution of human systems integration activities in any of the following domains: manpower, personnel (workforce management), training, human factors engineering, system safety and occupational health, habitability, and personnel survivability Knowledge of Department of Homeland Security Acquisition and Systems Engineering policies Experience and skills related to business process/business process engineering Experience and skills with systems engineering and/or test and evaluation methods, processes, guidance and tools Secret Clearance needed: DOD Clearance preferred: Qualifications Requires Bachelors degree (in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field) or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience. Degrees Equivalent Experience/Education Bachelor's Degree Years of Experience 11-13 years w/High School Diploma 05-07 years w/Bachelors Degree 02-04 years w/Masters Degree Position Type Full-Time.
