Account Tech Strategist Microsoft National Security Group (NSG) has an immediate opening for an Account Technology Strategist (ATS) to support the US Department of Justice Account Team. This position is based in the DC/VA/MD area reporting to the Director of the Microsoft Justice ATU. The ATS is responsible for understanding/influencing customer-specific technology requirements and driving the adoption of the Microsoft Cloud Platform and solutions across strategic, business, and mission areas in a sell to model. The ATS will work closely with the Justice Account Team in developing strategy and play a key role in leading and growing our cloud business. In addition, the ATS must be able to collaborate and execute successful business outcomes across a wide variety of support and services teams within Microsoft. Core Capabilities: Broad knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise Platform and ability to map relevant Microsoft Technologies to customer IT and Mission Needs. Current understanding of the government cloud marketplace, Microsoft cloud offerings and proficiency driving adoption of solutions. Ability to build long-term Trusted Customer Relationships that result in solid and meaningful Strategic Technology conversations. In-depth knowledge of agencies technology environments. Focus on long-term, sustainable market share and usage growth, to include understanding of the government procurement process. Requirements: 8 years experience in developing/delivering technical solutions, sales, services or program management in Public Sector market segment Preferred Qualifications: Strong ability to learn quickly, adapt, and master new concepts and technologies to be able to impact their adoption and usage. Proven Microsoft and cloud technical acumen recommended. Extensive experience in working within teams. Exceptional leadership, negotiation, organizational, creative, presentation, written and verbal communication with equally good listening skills. Experience in Project Management and or managing complex opportunities/customer scenarios. Strong expertise with enterprise solutions Active Clearance or ability to be cleared desired. Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a similar information technology-related or engineering discipline required. Certification in technical roles, consultative selling and presentation skills preferred. Additional training or education in Business, Sales or Marketing preferred.
