Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: Perform complex financial analysis by utilizing moderate to advanced technical accounting knowledge as it relates to P&L, balance sheet, operating expenses, cash flow, asset management analysis Provide accounting and financial services/expertise to internal business units, markets, and external customers which includes submitting the monthly billing statements to customers Use charts, graphs, computer reports, log sheets, calculator, and Excel worksheets to compute fuel consumption, total production and plant consumption of all utilities and equipment efficiencies. Report plant consumption of all utilities (by month-end deadlines) to Financial Services for inclusion in plant financial reports for use by Corporate, businesses, and Power personnel for tracking power costs. Use CFAS, FININFO, and EMS to gather cost data to prepare cost analysis and graphs for the Power area. Explain differences from standards, recognize and correct errors, make cost presentations to the Power area. Assist and prepare Power operations and energy forecast. Identify meter errors by working closely with Power energy engineer and OLEMS database manager to maintain OLEMS and DCS meters. Maintain and generate OLEMS, DCS meter reports and other area reports. Act as a resource to the businesses for Power cost. Act as a resource for CFAS system maintaining appropriate Power accounts and elements. Verify and approve invoices and work with Accounts Payable to ensure on-time payments to avoid penalties. Execute other clerical miscellaneous duties as outlined by manager. High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year accounting or financial analysis experience in public accounting or private industry including budgeting, forecasting and management reporting Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Strong written and verbal communication skills.
