Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Primary Responsibilities Manage a team toward a vision and specific goals for recruiting, placing, and retaining America corps members and alumni into roles that impact students, families, and Baltimore Invest in the personal and professional growth of direct reports Develop a clear and compelling strategy for realizing the potential of our base of 1100 to attain a range professional opportunities aligned to their strengths and passions and our potential for impact Recruit and compel corps members and alumni to discover their greatest potential - whether it is staying in a current role or taking on the next opportunity Match alumni to opportunities of impact in the region including America staff positions (regional & national) Utilize and manage data management systems to accurately report and track alumni progress toward career goals, monitor levels of involvement with America, and make data-based decisions regarding strategic priorities Build relationships with key external partners to build diverse pipelines, source talent, and expand opportunities for corps members and alumni in Baltimore Sit on America Baltimore s Regional Leadership Team, driving regional culture, decision-making, and results Requirements The ideal candidate is a strong manager of people, projects, and teams; excellent at building relationships and partnerships with a range of constituents, organizations, and institutions; passionate about talent and matching; entrepreneurial; values- and mission-driven; and excels at thinking strategically and investing others in an ambitious plan. Education Bachelor s degree required Prior Experience Minimum 6-8 years professional work experience (team management, recruitment, relationship management) Skills Strong management experience and demonstrated results in leading a team Strong aptitude for talent recruitment, management, and development Excellent ability to build and cultivate external relationships with a range of stakeholders Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to set a bold vision for maximizing opportunities and overcoming barriers Embodies our core values and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness Superb interpersonal and talent identification skills, as well as a proven ability to develop and leverage relationships toward achievement of concrete goals Excellent organizational and project management skills Belief in the critical role of diversity in Teach.
