Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Job Summary Assists the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) department with the management and administration of all Community Investment Programs (grants, sponsorships, dollars for doers, Political Action Committee (PAC) match, disaster relief, in-kind transportation and in-kind products/services). Responsible for the processing, record keeping, filing and reporting of all charitable and non-charitable contributions, as well as outreach to, and support for, the 15 Regional Giving Councils within the CSX network. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree 1 or more years of experience in Business, Communications, Public Relations/Affairs or Nonprofit Administration Equivalent Minimum Qualifications Associates Degree/2-year Degree 3 or more years of experience in Business, Communications, Public Relations/Affairs or Nonprofit Administration Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree 3 or more years of experience in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations/Affairs or Nonprofit Administration Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of organizational structure and complex workings of Fortune 500 companies along with Corporate Philanthropy and Foundation guidelines, procedures and processes Proficiency with Oracle financials and ability to master new technology and systems Strong customer service skills and an aptitude and passion for working with people Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills Strong organizational skills Strong Microsoft Office skills Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, external constituencies and all levels within the organization Ability to act ethically and maintain confidentiality Ability to maintain a professional and responsive demeanor with respect to interactions with multiple stakeholders including senior executives and nonprofit leadership Ability to manage projects with limited supervision and multi-task Leadership.
