Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Job Purpose: The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will support the Finance department in practicing budgetary, forecasting, and planning processes that meet the needs of a rapidly growing and evolving company. This role will maintain and distribute financial reports to support in forecasting, trending, and results analysis. Deliverables: Assist management in devising the annual budget calendar and building budget templates Assist cross-functional departments in the budgeting process and timely delivery of annual budgets for executive approval Forecast and gauge market/industry trends and prepare summaries for management review detailing forecast patterns and the companys overall outlook Assist in projects to identify new opportunities for improvement in forecast accuracy and process efficiency Proof and maintain daily activities for operational reports, including follow up to cure deficiencies on automated error reports, visual proofing, and using excel as a tool to identify anomalies Analyze and compare monthly and quarterly financial results and key performance indicators against planned and other internal benchmarks Prepare financial presentations for senior management on a constant basis by incorporating new and existing reports along with analysis of business trends Provide data management by maintaining, organizing, and entering data for various reporting systems Compile and prepare ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed Job Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications: Must have Bachelor s Degree in Finance , Accounting or closely related discipline Must have 3-5 years in Financial Analysis or similar role; MBA/CPA a plus Must have intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) with the ability to perform lookups and create pivot tables for the purposes of data aggregation/analysis Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
