Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Research and Metadata Curator will be responsible for the following: ensuring the creation of accurate and thorough researcher metadata profiles for the Ohio Innovation Exchange platform; identifying methods to automate data collection; performing research to support the completion of profiles; effectively communicating with faculty, staff, and researchers in an academic setting; developing reports on profile data; assisting institutional liaisons in working with the profile data platform; developing training materials for use with the platform; documenting policies, procedures, and methodologies to ensure program continuity and consistency over time and versions. Additional Information for Applicants: Pre Employment Screening Requires the successful completion of a background check. Required Qualifications Master s Degree in Library and Information Science; 3-5 years of experience in an academic research library; demonstrated knowledge of and experience with: research publication environment, name authorities, cataloging and metadata standards and practices, reference service, academic publishers and journal content. Desired Qualifications Experience working with information technology application development; experience with SQL Server Reporting Studio ( SSRS ) and/or SQL query development for ad hoc reporting; experience with Symplectic Elements. Target Salary $50,000.00 - $60,000.00.
