Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Field Technician

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, and heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, and loaders, forklifts, welders, cranes, etc. Maintenance and repair on lattice and hydraulic cranes are a plus. You will also be responsible for documentation, and travel to jobsites. Three years' experience in the diagnostics, operation, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment (or other equipment/vehicles) is preferred. It is also preferred that you have a certificate or degree in a related trade school for heavy equipment with a concentration in diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems, or equivalent combination. You should have your own tools, must show initiative, drive, and dedication. A high school diploma and valid driver s license are required, and CDL Class B required (we will assist with obtaining if needed). You will be based out of our warehouse, located in Raleigh, NC with project site travel in the southeast; North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, the mid-Atlantic; Maryland, Virginia, Washington D. C. , and occasionally the northeast, along with any other states we obtain work along the eastern seaboard. Approximately 80% travel.
