Job Responsibilities and Requirements: POSITION SUMMARY: This key role is responsible for supporting the design and delivering of relevant standardized reporting and centralization of activities from NUSA Factories to enable the Factory Finance teams to maximize driving cost improvement within their sites. This position must actively collaborate with the factory teams to ensure key responsibilities are transitioned to this newly created team and that activities will be standardized and completed from a centralized location. The individual must be able to effectively interact, collaborate and communicate across multiple functions in the organization, cooperating and building consensus to drive results. The position will plan, prioritize and manage workload in an environment of competing priorities where risk must be accurately assessed to support and guide timely and sound business decisions. This analyst of Decision Support will provide the Factory Finance Controllers, Factory Finance Teams, and Operations Finance Director with support of system based activities to enable the Factories to improve operating. Position will operate as a key finance lead and business partner to the NUSA Factory Teams. Key areas of responsibility include managing SAP solutions, audit support, ad hoc reporting to improve overall business performance, potential coordination of monthly financial close, and special projects. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Seek feedback and input from each factory to provide standardized support that services the needs of each factory site. Collaborate with the CCC, Technical Controlling team, NUSA T&P finance, and the Factory Finance Team for best methods. Ensure efficiency and quality of Management Accounting processes & reporting with regard to speed, resources used, quality of the output and data repository Support the Factory Finance teams with special projects requests, ad hoc requests and audit requests when related to gathering financial information effectively and forming data into meaningful outputs (i.e. PV updates, Manual adjustments to the FCV, and other identified areas of opportunity) Promote Decision Support processes efficiency with the best usage of Decision Support related Information Systems (GLOBE, SAP CO-PA, AMS BW, Essbase) across the company providing accurate and timely reports Identify and implement process improvement, including to promote standardized month end account review of the balance sheet Establish and develop standardized processes for health checks across all NIDC factories BASIC/ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS with major in Accounting or Finance, or BA/BS degree with coursework up to and including intermediate accounting Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounting/Finance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Willingness to relocate Willingness to travel 25% of role CPA, CMA, CFM, CCE, MBA Food industry experience STRONGLY PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Prior experience in Nestle in Factory Finance - Cost Accountant or equivalent experience Experience in a service organization (shared service) Hands-on knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (US GAAP) or International Accounting Standards (IAS) assumptions, principles and constraints (i.e. economic equity, going concern, monetary unit, periodic reporting, historical cost, revenue recognition matching, full disclosure, cost-benefit relationship, materiality, and conservatism) Knowledge of the principles of cost accounting and activity-based costing Demonstrated ability to design financial & non-financial measurements and key performance indicators (KPI's) to drive improved business performance Decision support skills Working knowledge of budget preparation and forecasting for cost centers / balance sheet accounts Working knowledge of financial concepts & principles including cash flow, NPV, IRR, ROI, Economic Profit, etc. Ability to understand and communicate the drivers of product profit & loss Nestl Accounting Standards (NAS) - for internal candidates Computer skills: MS Windows including intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; basic Access, and advanced knowledge of SAP PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Investment justification skills Project management skills.
