Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The lead analyst will be responsible and accountable as part of the BCBS - Part30 Capabilities Implementation, in partnership with Finance Risk Infrastructure, Chief Data Office and Global Functions Technology Services (GFTS) implementing the Data Services Operating Model that will be established and stabilized across all data sources that will be providing data to Strategic Data Repositories (SDRs) and Approved Data Sources (ADSs) of through the central infrastructure for Regulatory and Management reporting. Key responsibilities and expectations: Support the definition of data requirements, critical data elements (CDEs) and data sourcing of required information assets to support BCBS, Part 30 Chapter Capabilities. Work with partner workstreams in Finance and Risk Infrastructure (FRI), Technology (GFTS) and the business in understanding the information asset requirements in order to be able to define the necessary data elements that need to be provided by Data Services. Define Data Services Operating Model requirements that need to be implemented across all partner systems covered by the Data Services infrastructure - Strategic Data Repositories (SDRs) and Approved Data Sources (ADSs). The Operating Model to be defined covers key components: Data Flow Operations, Data Quality Controls, Comprehensive Controls and Data Remediation. Manage the implementation of the Data Services Operating Model across partner systems covered by the Data Services infrastructure. Coordinate with FRI, Technology and business DGO partners in the implementation of the Operating Model Define and support the implementation of key technology enablers required for the Data Services Operating Model. Support activities would include documentation of business requirements document, coordination with GFTS for delivery of the enablers, as well as, implementation roll-out across business and operations user groups. Execute activities to support the implementation of the Data Services Operating Model for FRI-owned systems to be established in FRSS. This implementation function will include the definition of the global operating model support structure, roles and responsibilities, required operational control points as documented in the Management Control Assessment (MCA) and required Blueworks document, productivity and efficiency KPIs and Interaction Model Manage and escalate issues impacting the implementation of the Data Services Operating Model. Coordinate resolution with relevant partners in Finance and Risk Infrastructure (FRI), Technology (GFTS), as well as, Finance and Risk as required. Manage implementation and delivery of initiatives and projects to continuously support process improvement thru automation and standardization, expanding data consumption requirements and regulatory commitments. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Business Management or related field. 6 years relevant work experience in large scale system operations for Finance / Risk related applications, data management and or data quality governance space. Strong analytical skills Competence and ability to function in a highly matrixed functional teams across various business and regions. Able to manage conflicting time demands across multiple initiatives. Able to present, communicate with senior managers and key project stakeholders (i.e., ability to articulate technical details to simple business terminology) Established and demonstrated strong leadership competence and ability to managed highly matrix functional teams across various business Ability to coordinate conflicting time demands and senior escalation Ability to support non-standard business hours including weekends and holidays as determined by Finance and management needs Team player with strategic focus and flexibility to manage and support enterprise change Ability to see and understand the big picture and being able to do long term strategic planning. Aptitude to translate strategy into execution in a complex and cross-functional organization. A self-starter with ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently. Demonstrated capability and maturity to work in an individual capacity and must proactively seek out ways to enhance the mission and identify new data analysis needs. Able to set priorities and discuss experience in adapting to emergent or dynamic requirements. Proficiency in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project). High caliber team player with good judgment, flexibility and productivity. Quick learner, customer focused with ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced changing environment. Forward looking with ability to mitigate and overcome any challenging roadblocks. Must have can do attitude. Ability to work well under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements in a heavily matrix organization. Self-starter and with demonstrated leadership skill.
