Job Responsibilities and Requirements: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborating across a broad spectrum of individuals and disciplines Developing plans for upcoming testing Providing engineering definition and authorization for airplane configuration changes Architecting, designing, maintaining or operating test instrumentation and specialized systems Conducting ground and flight testing on board the aircraft Evaluating test results and working to resolve any issues encountered is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems. This position is based in Seattle or Everret,WA and does not offer relocation assistance. Applicants must reside in area or be willing to relocate at their own expense. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience): Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry Bachelor of Science degree and 2 or more years' applicable experience in an engineering position, or a Master's degree with applicable engineering experience Ability to participate as a test team member flying on board the aircraft Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience): Previous experience leading a team to accomplish a project or other goal Effective communication skills (writing, collaborating, presenting, etc) Bachelor's Degree or higher in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred Typical Education & Experience:Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
