Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities Include: Assisting in the management of litigated matters Work with outside litigation counsel in the management of these matters Upload key pleadings, briefs and orders to the litigation matter management systemMonitor completion of fields that require attorney inputPrepare and review case checklists Assist attorneys with data on Excel using v-look up, pivot tables and pie charts Prepare power point slides for projects or assignments Qualifications: 7 years paralegal experience including preparing legal documents and assisting in the management of outside counsel College degree strongly preferred, paralegal certificate a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong PC skills (proficient knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Westlaw) Ability to monitor own workload to meet work goals Analytical thinker who is an independent self-starter Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle several projects simultaneously Experience in legal research, summarizing documents and analysis of data Excellent Organization Skills.
