Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Your Next Challenge: Performs a variety of accounting and finance duties including month-end close, journal entries and reconciliations, billing and accounts receivable Assists with monthly data gathering, financial reporting, and budget control. Produces monthly and YTD variance analysis Monitors accounting records for accuracy, tracks and resolves errors, and completes accounting functions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of accounting & financial functions. Leads client budget tracking and reporting Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective business relations with clients, outside auditors and regulators, and professional trade groups. Makes suggestions regarding process improvements and assists with the implementation of new systems. What you ll need: Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance Four years of related accounting/finance experience preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills including the ability to articulate financial information to non-financial stakeholders Good interpersonal skills. Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements. Understanding of General Ledger accounting. Thorough knowledge of most computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite and advanced level experience of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) Experience with General Ledger systems. Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in high pressure situations. Attention to detail.
