Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Finance Department is looking for a Financial Analyst ready to join the NYC FP&A team. You ll be responsible for delivering business insights, accurate financial planning and forecasting, and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders. This role supports and influences the executive decision-making process at GA and directs the financial analysis, planning and budgeting for the corporate functions and various business units. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with substantial visibility and interaction to senior management and various teams across the entire organization. Key Areas of Focus: Create, maintain, and optimize standardized and ad hoc financial schedules, reports, and tools utilizing Excel, Google docs and financial / data systems Assist in the creation of our monthly / quarterly financial deliverables Identify and act on opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve existing reporting and processes Assist with development / implementation of new processes and procedures for enhanced reporting of key business drivers Partner closely with BI to further develop and standardize KPI dashboards Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Product, and all G&A teams to consolidate, report, and analyze revenue / expenses as well as provide insights for forecasting Work closely with Accounting to distribute accurate and timely reports on financial performance, and have direct responsibility to provide information on the comparative budget variance analyses and explaining performance to executive management and external stakeholders Support all phases of the semi-annual planning and budget processes Drive financial modeling and strategic target and goal setting to evolve GA s business model in order to ensure its financial viability and future success Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance required At least 3 years of related experience in financial planning and analysis Advanced Excel skills Working knowledge of Adaptive Insights, Oracle, Hyperion a plus Exposure to supporting marketing teams/organizations in analytical/financial capacity a plus Competencies & Skills: Strong analytical mind and critical thinking skills Organized with impressive attention to detail Ability to time-manage and prioritize tasks within a fast-paced environment Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills Self-starter with the ability to set and keep deadlines and commitments; high sense of accountability Empathy, patience, and professionalism Intellectual curiosity and a team player that enjoys working as part of a small team environment Passionate about the GA mission, values and brand.
